Frances O'Donnell
Head Coach - 2016-17G
Frances grew up in Northern California and made her way to Vermont in 2019 when she arrived at UVM to play D1 college soccer and pursue a degree in Exercise Science. She played at UVM for 5 years, finishing as captain, and earning a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, with minors in Nutrition and Integrative Health and Wellness Coaching, and a Master of Science in Physical Activity and Wellness Science. Frances was a starter for the duration of her college career (although battled a season ending ankle injury her senior year, that also took away the first half of her graduate season). She helped lead UVM Women's Soccer to its first ever America East Championship in 2019 and was recognized as an Offensive Player of the Week in 2023.
Frances grew up coaching a youth soccer academy in CA with her family and doing private trainings. She coached a season for BFC during her sophomore year of college and has assisted with the Vermont ODP Program. Fun fact: Frances' club team (Davis Legacy) made it to the ECNL National Finals in 2018, ultimately losing to Trinity Rodman's club team, SoCal Blues.
Since graduation, Frances now works full time for UVMMC on the Employee Wellness team, and her role includes wellness program development and implementation, health and wellness coaching, and biometric screenings for employees. She also is a certified Vinyasa Yoga instructor and teaches at YogaSix in South Burlington.
Sam Serrantonio
Head Coach - 2016-17G
Sam is one of the head coaches for our 2016-17G team. She grew up in Essex Junction, playing soccer at Essex High School. After high school, she went onto UVM where she studied Elementary Education. Following UVM, she attended SNHU where she received her Master's Degree in Teaching. She is now a kindergarten teacher.
Alongside Nordic, Sam has been coaching for the past five years as an assistant coach for the Essex High School Girl's Varsity Program. Fun fact, she is now teaching at the school she attended as a student growing up!
Brad Agoos
Head Coach - 2015-16G
Brad grew up in Dallas, TX and went to the University of Virginiato play college soccer under Bruce Arena. While he was at the UVa program won its first three National Championships. He then played professionally in a variety of leagues across the United States as well as in Germany, Holland and Costa Rica.
After he finished playing, he spent the next 15 years coaching at the collegiate level, mainly as the first assistant coach at Cal-Berkeley and Head Coach at Seattle University. After this, he spent several years as a part of the Portland Timbers youth academy as the U18 Head Coach.
Brad has been a network scout for US Soccer since 2007. He was recently the Director of Coaching at Burlington FC, as well as the head coach for both the U8 and U18B, who won the Jefferson Cup in 2023. He recently won the Division III State Championship as the head coach of the Winooski High School Boys Varsity team. At Nordic, Brad is helping with both the U10B and U10G programs.
He is married to Dr. Deb Hinchey, who is the Director of the undergraduate Public Health degree at UVM, and his two kids (Luke 9 and Olivia 7), both play at Nordic. In his spare time he makes slightly sketchy furniture and does woodworking.

Niv Fogel
Head Coach - 2013G
Niv is our 2013G head coach. Niv is from Israel, and first studied at Iowa Western Community College from 2015-2017. While there, competed in 2 National Tournaments and 2 regional championships. He then went on to The College of Saint Rose from 2017-2020. While there, he was captain and helped lead the team to their first Conference Tournament final, and made the All-Tournament Team. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in Finance and a Master’s in Business Administration. Fun fact, Niv is a Liverpool fan, with his favorite player being Pirlo.
Erin Murphy
Head Coach - 2012G & 2007-08G
Erin recently graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in Public Communication and is the head coach for our 2012G and 2007-08G teams. A two-year starter on the UVM Women's Soccer team, Erin has a strong background in competitive soccer. Hailing from Wantagh, New York, she played for the Albertson Soccer Club, where she was a key player on their ECNL and Development Academy teams.
Erin's accomplishments extend to her time with the Vermont Fusion WPSL team, where she was recognized as both East Region and National Player of the Week. She earned a spot on the conference's Best XI and played a pivotal role in leading her team to championships in the 2021 Metropolitan Conference and the 2022 Northeastern Conference. Under her leadership, the 2022 squad advanced to the WPSL National Quarterfinals.
Currently, Erin serves as the graduate assistant coach for the Men's Soccer Program at Vermont State University - Castleton, where she is pursuing a master's degree in Athletic Leadership. Since joining Nordic in the spring of 2021, Erin has contributed to grassroots and community programs and has coached various age groups on the girls' side. She is now the assistant coach for the 2010GP team and has been involved with Vermont’s Olympic Development Program for the past two years.
In addition to her coaching roles, Erin spends her summers working with No. 1 Soccer Camps nationwide, where she serves as a member of the goalkeeping staff and directs several camp locations.

Dallas Brodhead
Head Coach - 2010-11G
Dallas is the head coach of our 2010-11G team. Growing up, Dallas played at Milton High School, winning a state championship 2013 and 2015. After that, she studied physical education and played soccer at Castleton University from 2016 to 2022. While there, they entered the NCAA tournament by winning the 2017 NAC Division III Women's Soccer Championship. Fun fact, Dallas is currently training for her next half marathon race and ultimately a full marathon later on in the year!
Cait Fogel
Head Coach - 2010G
Cait is the head coach of our 2010G on top of being the Director of Operations at Nordic Soccer Club. Growing up, she played at Milton High School, leading the team to two state championships in 2013 and 2015. She also played for Nordic from 2008 to 2017. She then went on to play for The College of Saint Rose from 2016-2020. During those four years, they went to the NE-10 Conference Tournament 4 times, winning in 2019 as well as the regular season title. After that, they went on to win the East Regional Championship, and went to the NCAA Final Four. Cait graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology, with a concentration in Ecology and Environmental Science and a minor in Psychology.
Cait coached the Milton High School Girls Varsity Soccer team for the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons, winning back-to-back Vermont Divison II State Championships, along with being named Large School Coach of the Year for both seasons as well. Cait has now moved onto the college game, being an assistant for the Saint Michael's Womens Soccer team.

Stephanie Fay
Assistant Coach
Stephanie grew up in Essex Junction, playing at Essex High School. She continued her soccer career by playing all four years at Johnson State (now known as Vermont State University - Johnson). She graduated in 2014 with a degree in Elementary and Special Education and is now teaching preschool. She has been coaching soccer since she graduated, mostly with EHS assisting the girls program. She is also the head coach for our local TOPSoccer program, adapting the game she loves for players with special needs. Fun fact, she has been teaching swim lessons for the past 18 years!
Elizabeth Sommeling
Assistant Coach
Lizzy is a current player on the UVM Women's Soccer Team. She formerly played for the Players Development Academy and competed in the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) in New Jersey.
