Spectators are still required to wear a face covering when entering and exiting a field/facility and in all common areas. Once at the field, spectators are permitted to remove their face covering when proper social distancing can be maintained continuously on the sidelines.
Family units do not have to maintain social distancing from one another but will need to maintain proper social distancing from non-family member spectator groups around them. Please understand that town, city, and regional Boards of Health may impose more restrictive measures for facial coverings for participants and spectators. If so, these heightened restrictions take precedence.
Per State of Vermont, current face covering (approved mask) policies for players, coaches and officials have not changed. While actively playing soccer or training it is still required for participants to wear a mask properly covering nose and mouth, including while on the field, sidelines, entering and exiting facilities and during team huddles. (Note: players may take temporary “mask breaks” on the field only when 6ft or further away from other players, coaches, fans or officials.)
Please remember, it remains the responsibility of the coaches and team officials to ensure all team members abide by the State of Vermont Guidance, not the referees.
Out of necessity, to ensure member organizations can continue soccer activities and to keep players on the field we must continue to follow this guidance as provided to us.
All of our 4 locations listed above have a zero pets policy.
All teams are required to register in the appropriate division. A specific pricing plan is being offered to Canadian teams to assist in making up for the high currency exchange rates. Any teams from outside of Canada who sign up for the Canadian price plan will be moved into the appropriate registration price plan and be required to pay the corresponding rate.
