Nordic winter practice to be held at The Fieldhouse |
|
Nordic teams to practise at The Fieldhouse in Shelburne this winter.
Nordic players and parents, as we start to make our plans for the 2009-10 season, we are very happy to announce that we have reached an agreement with the Fieldhouse (TFH) in Shelburne for Nordic teams to have 1 team practise per week at this facility from early November through mid April.
In our effort to improve the practise opportunities that we offer to our players and teams, we have decided to replace the Pool Training options with a 2nd team practise, to be at held at TFH in Shelburne. This will also give us the chance through-out the winter to practise for a total of 21 weeks as oppossed to the normal 18 weeks that we have available at CVE in Essex. The field space at TFH is larger than what we have at CVE and the coaching environment, with-out the noise from the 7v7 games going on, will also add to a nicer, more coachable environment.
As part of our agreement with TFH, every Nordic player will also have full access to the facilities at TFH from early November through mid April. This includes their extensive and well equipped weight room as well as the many classes that they offer. We are also working on some reduced membership fee rates for Nordic parents to take advantage of.
The additional practises at TFH and the use of their facilities is all included in your Nordic player fees.
